VA Tech Wabag Establishes New Subsidiary Company.

VA Tech Wabag recently informed stock exchanges that it has incorporated a new wholly owned subsidiary, North Chennai Tru Water Private Ltd, in Chennai, with an initial paid-up capital of ₹1 lakh. The capital comprises 10,000 equity shares with a face value of ₹10 each.

The company said the subsidiary will undertake the “Refurbishment, Finance, Operate, Maintain and Transfer (RFOMT)” of a 45 million litres per day tertiary treatment reverse osmosis (TTRO) plant at Kodungaiyur. The project is part of efforts to strengthen wastewater treatment and reuse infrastructure in the region.

According to the filing, the subsidiary was incorporated with effect from April 1, 2026, and is registered with the Registrar of Companies in Chennai.
