Uttar Pradesh to Get ₹1,000-Cr Green Data Centre; CM Lays Foundation.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently laid the foundation stone for the CEL-ESDS Green Data Centre, a significant project with a 30 MW capacity and an estimated investment of approximately ₹1,000 crore.

The groundbreaking ceremony took place on the premises of Central Electronics Ltd. (CEL). Chief Minister Adityanath was joined by Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Jitendra Singh, Uttar Pradesh IT Minister Sunil Kumar Sharma, and state Social Welfare Minister Asim Arun.

"I congratulate CEL for their glorious journey of 50 years," Chief Minister Adityanath remarked during the event, acknowledging the public sector enterprise's long-standing contributions. This new green data centre is expected to boost the state's digital infrastructure and attract further technological investments.
