Rainbow Children’s Medicare Limited (RCML) is set to expand its footprint into Mumbai through a definitive agreement with Fountainhead TCHM Healthcare to develop and operate a 100-bed women and children’s hospital in Malad.
The Hyderabad-based hospital chain said it has signed the agreement with Fountainhead TCHM Healthcare, promoted by Susan Veena Fernandes, Vinay Hanamesh Joshi and Allan Mark Pereira, for the brownfield hospital project.
The Mumbai facility marks Rainbow’s entry into one of India’s largest healthcare markets and is part of the company’s broader expansion strategy to strengthen its presence across the country.
“With a strong pipeline of new hospitals, including our expansion into Mumbai and upcoming facilities in Nellore and Guntur, we are well positioned to reach more families with our specialized care. I am particularly excited about our entry into Mumbai, which presents a significant long-term growth opportunity for Rainbow,” said Ramesh Kancharla, Chairman and Managing Director of Rainbow Children’s Medicare.
Besides its Mumbai expansion, the company is also developing new hospitals in Nellore and Guntur as it continues to expand its network of specialised women’s and children’s healthcare facilities.
