Suzlon Wins 200 MW Wind Project Order from Ayana Renewable Power

8 September 2026: Suzlon Energy has secured its first wind energy order from Ayana Renewable Power for a 200 MW project at Limbawas in Madhya Pradesh. The project will involve the installation of 64 S144 wind turbines, each rated at 3.15 MW. The contract’s financial value has not been disclosed.

Suzlon will undertake engineering, procurement and construction services, with responsibilities spanning turbine supply, land acquisition, associated infrastructure, pooling substations, extra-high-voltage transmission lines and commissioning. The agreement also includes operations and maintenance services. Electricity generated at the site will feed into the state grid.

The order marks Ayana’s entry into wind power generation in Madhya Pradesh. It also takes cumulative orders for Suzlon’s S144 platform beyond 10 GW and represents the company’s third development-led wind order across Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh.

Suzlon Group Vice Chairman and Co-Founder Girish Tanti said the partnership would support Ayana’s expanding wind portfolio. Ayana’s Head of Business Development, Lakshmi Narayanan B, cited Suzlon’s turbine technology, execution capabilities and integrated project delivery approach as reasons for selecting the company. A commissioning date was not specified in the announcement
