Karnataka Secures Major Investment Boost Worth ₹51,000+ Crore, Job Creation to Touch 70,000.

Karnataka received a major boost as 48 companies signed investment agreements worth ₹51,469 crore at the Invest Karnataka Summit 2026 in Bengaluru. The commitments, formalised in the presence of Industries Minister MB Patil, are expected to create around 70,000 jobs across sectors including aerospace, automotive, biotechnology, and manufacturing.

The summit attracted more than 100 representatives from multinational corporations and technology start-ups. During a formal signing ceremony, company leaders exchanged Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the minister, marking the agreements official.

Patil credited the strong investor response to two months of targeted, on-ground outreach by the State government, undertaken independently of global platforms such as the Davos summit. “These commitments will further strengthen Karnataka’s position as a key industrial and employment hub on the national map,” he said.

The investments are seen as a significant step in bolstering the state’s industrial ecosystem and enhancing opportunities for high-skill employment, reinforcing Karnataka’s reputation as a preferred destination for both domestic and international businesses.
