Lemon Tree Hotels has announced the signing of its latest property, the Lemon Tree Hotel, Itanagar, in Arunachal Pradesh. This new hotel will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited, marking the brand's first foray into the northeastern state.

The upcoming Lemon Tree Hotel, Itanagar, will boast 70 well-appointed rooms and a comprehensive range of amenities designed for both leisure and business travelers. Guests can look forward to a restaurant, a bar, a banquet hall, a dedicated meeting room, a swimming pool, a gym, a spa, and other inviting public areas.

Strategically located, the hotel offers convenient access for travelers. It is approximately 25 kilometers from Donyi Polo Airport, Itanagar, and about 12 kilometers from Naharlagun (Itanagar) Railway Station. The property also benefits from excellent road connectivity, ensuring easy access via both public and private transport.

Itanagar, the capital and largest town of Arunachal Pradesh, holds historical significance, deriving its name from Itafort, or 'the fort of bricks.' This irregularly shaped fort, dating back to the 14th-15th century, was constructed by Mayapur of Ramachandra, a king of the Jitari Dynasty, and stands as one of the state's most important historical sites.
