Ashok Leyland-Nissan venture launches 'Partner' in AP.
Ashok Leyland Limited has launched new Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) Partner truck in Andhra Pradesh market packing with comfort features including air-conditioner and expects to go pan-India with it by March.
After the commercially successful launch of Dost and the recently launched STiLE, an utlility vehicle, Partner is the latest offering from the Ashok Leyland-Nissan joint venture, and is currently offered by Nissan in other markets.
Nitin Seth, Executive Director( LCV and Defence ), Ashok Leyland said, 'With this new product, we have stayed true to our LCV mission that is to deliver to the Indian customer, contemporary products that deliver best-in-class user experience, coupled with exceptional efficiency.'
'This is an exciting addition to our LCV portfolio and we are confident of delighting customers and continuing the successful winning streak of the Dost and the critically acclaimed, newly launched STiLE,' he said.
The segment in which Partner fits (3.5 tonnes to 7 tonnes) is estimated to be about 30,000 vehicles per annum.
