AP Aims for $50 Billion Investment in Electronic Component Manufacturing.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to develop a comprehensive action plan aimed at attracting $50 billion in investments for electronic component manufacturing.

During a review meeting on the newly-drafted Electronics Components Manufacturing Policy 4.0 held in Amaravati on Monday, CM Naidu emphasized the need for Andhra Pradesh to initiate large-scale manufacturing to cater to international demand and establish its own brand recognition for these products.

Naidu highlighted that such an initiative would significantly contribute to India's self-reliance in electronics and help achieve "Make in India" targets. He pointed out that India imported electronic circuit boards worth $70 billion last year, underscoring the critical need for domestic production.
