Two-wheelers to ply on Kandikal Gate RoB soon.
With progress of work on the Kandikal Gate Road over Bridge (RoB) picking up in the last three weeks, the facility is expected to be opened for traffic, at least for the two-wheelers, by the first week of December.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has taken up the construction of the RoB at an estimated cost of Rs.23 crore and after extension of time approval, was slated to be completed by January 31, 2015.
However, GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar, who along with senior officials inspected the ongoing works on Monday, wanted the work to be speeded up further and completed early and opened at least for two-wheeler vehicles by December 2.
