Texmaco Rail & Engineering Secures ₹36.27 Crore Order.

Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited today announced it has received a significant order valued at ₹36.27 crore from Transport Corporation of India Limited. The order, dated July 1, 2025, is for two rakes comprising 54 ACT-3 Type Wagons and 2 BVCM wagons.

This initial order also includes a provision for a further eight similar rakes, contingent on the performance of the delivered units and prevailing market conditions.

The Auto Car Taller (ACT-3) wagons represent a landmark development for Texmaco. These new automobile carrier wagons were designed and developed by Texmaco in response to specific market and customer demands. Crucially, the ACT-3 wagons are capable of transporting a diverse range of vehicles, including SUVs, small trucks, and tractors, offering enhanced flexibility for logistics providers.

This order underscores Texmaco's commitment to innovation in the railway rolling stock sector and its ability to meet evolving industry needs.
