Tamil Nadu Poised to Become Tata Motors-JLR Electric Vehicle Export Hub

Tata Motors Group is expected to establish Tamil Nadu as a central hub for exporting electric vehicles (EVs) built on Jaguar Land Rover's (JLR) Electrified Modular Architecture (EMA), according to sources close to the development. While specific details about the models remain undisclosed, it is believed that the exports will include both JLR models manufactured in India and Tata EVs based on the EMA platform.

This strategic move follows the recent trend set by French automaker Citroen, which has begun exporting EVs produced in India to international markets.
