Abu Dhabi Advances US$56 Billion Infrastructure Investment Programme Across 500 Projects; Signs Five International Partnerships
The Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre (ADPIC) is advancing a major US$56 billion-plus (approximately AED 205.7 billion) infrastructure investment programme covering nearly 500 projects, strengthening the emirate's position as a leading infrastructure development and investment destination.
The programme spans housing, transportation, healthcare, education, urban development, cultural facilities and essential public infrastructure, supporting Abu Dhabi's long-term economic diversification and sustainable urban expansion.
ADPIC announced five strategic cooperation frameworks following its participation in the ADIS International Roadshow 2026 at EXPO REAL in Munich, Germany.
The agreements involve Siemens, Partners Group, PATRIZIA, HENN and the German-Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce (AHK), focusing on infrastructure financing, public-private partnerships (PPPs), digital construction, engineering technologies, sustainable design and international investment collaboration.
The three-day roadshow facilitated more than 100 business and government engagements, connecting Abu Dhabi's infrastructure pipeline with European investors, contractors and technology providers.
Major UAE developers, including Aldar, Modon, Bloom Holding, LEAD Development and Trojan Construction Holding, participated in presenting development opportunities.
The extensive pipeline is expected to generate substantial opportunities for EPC contractors, engineering consultants, construction material manufacturers, electrical equipment suppliers, automation specialists and infrastructure technology companies.
Siemens and other international engineering and technology providers could benefit from emerging procurement opportunities, although the cooperation agreements do not constitute confirmed construction contracts.
The programme reflects Abu Dhabi's accelerating infrastructure investment strategy, emphasising private-sector participation, advanced construction technologies and sustainable development.
