Sky Industries to Set Up New Manufacturing Unit in Gujarat Under ₹49-Crore MoU.

Sky Industries Limited, a textile sector player, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Gujarat for the establishment of a new manufacturing facility focused on technical textiles and apparel, the company said. The agreement was signed during the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference in Surat.

The proposed project involves a total investment of ₹49 crore and forms part of the state’s broader investment promotion initiative aimed at strengthening its industrial base while expanding the company’s production capabilities.

The new facility will be set up in Gujarat and is expected to commence operations within 2026.

According to the company, the MoU outlines a facilitation framework under which the state government will support Sky Industries in securing required approvals, registrations, and clearances from relevant departments in line with existing policies and regulations.

The initiative is expected to enhance the company’s presence in the technical textiles segment while contributing to Gujarat’s growing manufacturing ecosystem.
