Shyam Metalics Inaugurates Aluminium Foil Manufacturing Facility in Odisha.

Shyam Metalics and Energy Ltd, through its step-down subsidiary SMEL Steel Structural, has commenced commercial production at its new aluminium foil manufacturing facility in Sambalpur, Odisha.

The facility has an installed production capacity of 18,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) and is equipped to manufacture premium-grade aluminium foils catering to a range of end-use industries.

With the commissioning of the new plant, the company has strengthened its presence in the expanding domestic and global aluminium foil markets. The facility will serve demand from sectors including packaging, pharmaceuticals and other industrial applications, further enhancing Shyam Metalics' value-added product portfolio.
