Several MoUs to be Signed With Top World Energy Firms at CII Partnership Summit.

Andhra Pradesh government is expected to enter into various Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with some of the international giants, particularly in the renewable energy sector, during the ensuing 22nd Partnership Summit, to be conducted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in Visakhapatnam from Jan 10 to Jan 12.

“Power is a critical input for the industrial sector. In order to transform AP into a manufacturing hub, 24X7 power supply is crucial. We have to follow global parameters such as System Average Interruption Frequency Index (SAIFI) and System Average Interruption Duration Index (SAIDI) to monitor the power supply so as to ensure that power is not interrupted even for a single minute for industries,” Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said during his preparatory meeting for the summit with the energy sector officials recently.

Naidu further stated that this step would enhance the credibility of the State government to attract investments from across the globe.
