CM Invites Maharashtra Business Men to Invest in Belagavi.

Representatives of trade and industrial bodies from Kolhapur (Maharashtra) met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on and discussed various investment opportunities in Karnataka, particularly Belagavi. The delegation expressed interest to set up units in the state by investing about Rs. 2,000 crore and provide employment to about 20,000 people. This proposal would require 1,726 acres in the state.

According to a state government release, Siddaramaiah assured all facilities for the investors and instructed Additional Chief Secretary to Commerce and Industries Department Ratna Prabha to take necessary steps to help these investment proposals to fructify.
