Safex Chemicals Inaugurates New Facility in Bharuch, Gujarat, Bolstering Expansion.

Safex Chemicals, a prominent force in the specialty chemical sector, announced on Thursday the official commencement of operations at its newest and largest manufacturing facility located in Bharuch, Gujarat.

The plant, which was commissioned in April 2025, is poised to produce a diverse array of liquid and powder crop protection formulations. This significant expansion will substantially boost Safex's capacity, enabling the company to cater more effectively to the increasing demand from India's vital agricultural regions, according to an official company release.

With existing facilities across India boasting a current production capacity of 23,335 metric tonnes (MT) for liquid products and an overall capacity of 51,395 MT (including liquid, powder, and granules), the new Bharuch plant initially adds 30 MT per day for liquid formulations. This new capacity is designed for scalability, with the potential to reach 80 MT per day, further solidifying Safex Chemicals' position in the market.
