"Ribandar Smart City: IPSCDL Reports 90% Completion of Projects"

Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Limited (IPSCDL) announced on Wednesday that it has achieved more than 90% completion of infrastructure works under the Smart City Mission in Ribandar, Panaji.

As part of the 'Development of Smart Ribandar with operations and maintenance of selected facilities' project, the IPSCDL-appointed contractor is actively engaged in constructing a network of new sewerage and drainage lines to enhance sanitation infrastructure in the area.

Additionally, IPSCDL has taken up the development of internal roads in Ribandar, focusing on bituminization, and the establishment of footpaths with kerbs.

A senior IPSCDL official noted significant progress in the ongoing infrastructure development in Ribandar, with completion rates ranging from 75% to 95%. The official reaffirmed the commitment to creating a sustainable urban center in Ribandar under the Smart City initiative, emphasizing ongoing efforts to expedite the remaining tasks within the stipulated deadline.

These Smart City Mission projects in Ribandar epitomize collaborative endeavors towards realizing the Smart City vision, the official emphasized. As Ribandar evolves, it will serve as a testament to the importance of cooperation and innovation in urban development.

IPSCDL has allocated approximately Rs 69 crore for the implementation of these facilities, signaling a substantial investment in enhancing the infrastructure and quality of life in Ribandar.
