Reliance announces planned shutdown of one paraxylene unit at Jamnagar.

Reliance Industries has announced a planned maintenance shutdown of one of its three units manufacturing paraxylene at Jamnagar. The shutdown will be for a period of six weeks.

The other two paraxylene units will function normally, the company said in an exchange filing. Reliance has a capacity of 1.8 million tonnes of paraxylene at Jamnagar.
