Petron Civil gets Bathinda refinery order
Mumbai: Petron Civil Engineering, part of Kazstroyservice, UK, has bagged an order worth Rs 352 crore from HPCL and Mittal Energy for the Guru Gobind Singh Refinery Project at Bathinda in Punjab.
The project work would include civil, structural, underground piping and pavement works for different units of the project. Earlier, the company had bagged another order of Rs 248 crore from the same project.
Petron Civil Engineering has around 24 ongoing projects of about Rs 2,150 cr ore. Major projects include Delhi Jal Board (Rs 153 crore), Public Health Engineering Department, West Bengal (Rs 256 crore), JSW (Rs 140 crore), Madras Cement (Rs 164 crore), Jindal Steel and Power (Rs 144 crore) and Bhushan Steel (Rs 220 crore). Mr N.K. Taori, Managing Director, Petron Civil Engineering, said, “With this contract we hope to achieve our goal of making this company a $1-billion company in the next 3-5 years”.
