MIC Electronics Ltd has secured a ₹114.10 crore contract from the Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Vikas Pradhikaran (NRANVP) for the design, development, commissioning and operationalisation of a Common Facility Centre (CFC) in Sector 22 of Nava Raipur.
The project will be executed over a 10-month period and covers end-to-end responsibilities, including design, procurement, construction, installation, testing and commissioning.
The CFC is envisaged as a shared manufacturing and technology hub to support the electronics ecosystem in the region. It will provide MSMEs, startups, system integrators and technology-led enterprises access to advanced machinery, engineering infrastructure and testing systems that typically require high capital investment. The centre is expected to support electronics manufacturing services, precision assembly, system integration, prototyping, testing and validation.
The shared facility model is aimed at improving capital efficiency and enabling scalable growth for multiple users in Nava Raipur. The project is also expected to boost industrial activity across Nava Raipur and the wider Chhattisgarh region by attracting investment in electronics and allied sectors. Employment generation is anticipated during both the construction and operational phases across engineering, manufacturing, system integration, operations, logistics and ancillary services
The development aligns with national and state initiatives such as Make in India, Atmanirbhar Bharat and Ease of Doing Business, and supports Chhattisgarh’s MSME and industrial policies.
Rakshit Mathur, chief executive officer of MIC Electronics, said the project is strategically significant for both the company and the state, adding that MIC is well positioned to design, commission and sustain such facilities to support electronics manufacturing and technology-driven enterprises.
