Krones Breaks Ground on ₹315 Crore Bottling Plant in Karnataka.
German-based beverage and food manufacturing giant Krones has commenced construction of its ₹315 crore bottling machine manufacturing plant in Vemagal, Kolar district. The facility is expected to generate 550 jobs and is part of the ₹10.27 lakh crore investment proposals signed during the recently concluded Global Investors Meet (GIM) – Invest Karnataka 2025.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday, Large and Medium Industries Minister MB Patil reaffirmed the government’s commitment to facilitating investment projects and highlighted Krones’ decision to establish its plant as a testament to this commitment.
Senior Krones officials, including Holger Brocker, Markus Winter, and David Kremmer, attended the event, along with former Karnataka Legislative Council Chairman VR Sudarshan, Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) CEO Mahesh, and other dignitaries.
