Kolkata-Based Laser Power & Infra Bags ₹836-Crore Orders from NTPC, State Utilities.

Kolkata-based integrated power cables and conductors manufacturer Laser Power & Infra Limited announced recently that it has won new orders totaling ₹836 crore from NTPC and two state utilities for the supply of power cables and related equipment.

The orders come from NTPC, Kanpur Electric Supply Company Ltd (KESCo), and Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JDVVNL), and are part of projects under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).

Key orders include a ₹422.11-crore project from KESCo, Uttar Pradesh, aimed at system strengthening, and a ₹212.06-crore order from NTPC for loss-reduction works in Udhampur and Reasi, Jammu & Kashmir, the company said.
