Atlanta Electricals Subsidiary to Invest ₹193.58 Crore in New Transformer Components Manufacturing Facility
Atlanta Electricals Limited's wholly owned subsidiary, AE Components Private Limited, has approved an investment of ₹193.58 crore to establish a new manufacturing facility for transformer tanks, frames and radiators.
The proposed facility forms part of the company's backward integration strategy, aimed at strengthening its manufacturing capabilities, improving supply chain reliability and reducing dependence on external component suppliers.
According to the company's regulatory filing dated October 31, 2026, the investment will be financed through a combination of internal accruals, term loans from banks and financial institutions, and financial assistance from the parent company.
The project will be implemented in phases, with completion targeted within one year, subject to statutory and regulatory approvals.
The new manufacturing facility is expected to enhance operational efficiency, support long-term production requirements and strengthen Atlanta Electricals' position in India's transformer manufacturing industry.
The company has not disclosed the proposed facility's location or production capacity.
