Akshayakalpa Organic Forays into Mumbai, Pune with ₹50-Crore Expansion Plan.
Akshayakalpa Organic, a Bengaluru-based dairy start-up, has expanded its footprint by entering the markets of Mumbai and Pune, marking its foray into Maharashtra. The move follows its earlier expansion into Chennai and Hyderabad between 2022 and 2023, beyond its core base in Bengaluru.
The company said it expects to close the current fiscal year with revenues in the range of ₹550–600 crore. To support its entry into Maharashtra, it is investing ₹50 crore in building market infrastructure, strengthening distribution networks, and expanding processing capacity.
In the newly entered markets, the company will roll out its full portfolio of certified organic dairy products. This includes milk, ghee, curd, butter, paneer, cheese, buttermilk, as well as a high-protein product range, as it looks to tap into growing demand for organic and premium dairy offerings.
