Jyoti Structures Ltd Completes Transmission Line Project from Khavda to Bhuj

Jyoti Structures Limited has achieved a significant milestone with the successful commissioning of a 765 KV, Double Circuit, Hexa Bundle Conductor transmission line stretching from Khavda to Bhuj. Valued at Rs. 382.14 Crores, including GST, this project marks the highest rating of transmission lines constructed in India. The line underwent testing on December 19, 2023, and is now fully operational.

The scope of Jyoti Structures' work encompassed various critical tasks, including route optimization, design and engineering of different tower types in high wind zone areas, specialized foundation designs, soil strengthening, prototype tower testing, manufacturing and supplying approximately 17,000 MT of towers, insulators, and line materials, and complete line construction, including foundations, tower erection, insulator hoisting, and conductor stringing.

All intricate engineering design work was conducted in-house, leveraging the company's manufacturing unit in Nasik and tower testing facility in Ghoti. With a track record of manufacturing over 15,00,000 MT of towers, constructing and commissioning more than 31,000 Circuit Kilometers of lines, and 1,800 bays of substations up to 765 KV, as well as electrifying over 37,000 villages in India, Jyoti Structures demonstrates its extensive expertise in the power transmission and distribution sector.
