ICOMM wins Rs. 547-crore orders.
ICOMM Tele Ltd., has won four orders worth Rs. 547 crore for supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 400/765Kv transmission line towers. The total length of the transmission line is over 400 km and the project has to be executed in 18 to 24 months. ICOMM, a product design, development and engineering company involved in telecom, defence and power sectors won the orders from the Power Grid Corporation and APTransco through open, competitive bidding, While the Power Grid order is for 765 kV D/C Vemagiri transmission line, the 400 kV D/C lines for APTransco for Rayalaseema–Stage IV TPS to Peddajangampalli, HNPCL to KV Kota and Peddajangampalli to Chittoor are to be commissioned on a turnkey basis, Sumanth Paturu, Managing Director, said in a press release.
