Skyroot to Establish ₹500-Crore Rocket Testing and Manufacturing Facility.

Hyderabad-based space-tech start-up Skyroot Aerospace has announced plans to establish an integrated rocket manufacturing, integration, and testing facility in Telangana with an investment of ₹500 crore. The company signed an agreement with Telangana government officials at the World Economic Forum in Davos recently.

The facility will further strengthen Skyroot’s capabilities in the space industry, contributing to the growth of India’s private space sector.

In a separate development, Unilever has committed to setting up a palm oil manufacturing unit in Kamareddy district, Telangana, after a meeting between the company’s Global CEO Hein Schumacher and Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao at Davos. The company also plans to establish a bottle caps manufacturing unit in the state.

During the meeting, Chief Minister Rao highlighted the state's strategic advantages and connectivity, which make it an ideal location for business investments.
