Hilton Eyes Luxury Surge, Aims to Double India Footprint in Five Years.

Global hospitality giant Hilton has unveiled an ambitious strategy to double its brand presence in India within the next five years, with a significant focus on expanding its luxury portfolio. A key highlight of this expansion is the debut of Hilton's esteemed LXR Hotels and Resorts brand in India, with its first property slated to open in Bengaluru in 2026.

The announcement was made at Hilton's recent Hospitality Brand Showcase, which spotlighted 10 of the company's extensive portfolio of 24 global brands. Notably, Hilton also revealed that these upcoming additions are projected to triple its luxury estate in the coming years, signaling a strong commitment to catering to the premium segment of the Indian market.

Chris Nassetta, President and CEO of Hilton, underscored the strategic importance of India in the company's global growth trajectory. "India is a critical part of Hilton's global growth strategy," he stated. "As one of the world’s largest and most dynamic markets, it represents a major opportunity across brand segments – from luxury to premium economy." This expansion plan reflects Hilton's confidence in the burgeoning Indian hospitality market and its potential for significant growth across various price points.
