Hettich Launches New Plant in Indore, Targets India as Global Manufacturing Hub.

Hettich, the German furniture fittings manufacturer, has inaugurated its new manufacturing facility in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, aiming to establish India as a key global manufacturing hub.

The facility marks Hettich’s first dedicated undermount drawer runner plant in India and is part of the company’s broader investment of around ₹2,000 crore in the country, according to a company statement.

The new 25,700 sq. metre automated plant is situated within Hettich’s 103,039 sq. metre Indore complex. The company said the facility underscores its long-term commitment to India, bringing German engineering expertise while boosting local manufacturing capabilities, exports, and employment opportunities.
