Haryana CM Nayab Saini Unveils Rs. 184 Crore Worth of New Projects.

Chief Minister Nayab Saini announced and laid the foundation stones for 87 new projects in Pataudi, totaling nearly Rs. 184 crore. The initiatives aim to bolster local infrastructure, enhance public services, and improve community facilities.

The announcement comes as Haryana gears up for assembly elections in October. Pataudi, a reserved constituency with a significant SC and ST voter base, has historically supported the BJP, though recent Lok Sabha results saw a notable shift towards Congress.

At a public meeting in Pataudi, Saini introduced several key projects, including a veterinary polyclinic and animal trauma center in Taj Nagar, estimated at Rs 1 crore, contingent on land availability. He also inaugurated the foundation for a polytechnic college in Majri, with a budget of Rs 3.5 crore, and 33kV powerhouses in Siwari, Jasat, and Daultabad, costing Rs 20.5 crore.

Additionally, the Chief Minister announced an extra Rs 10 crore for further development in Pataudi and a new municipal corporation office for Manesar, valued at Rs 76 crore. Talks will be held with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to potentially upgrade the Hodal-Nuh and Pataudi-Patauda roads to national highways. The public works department will also receive Rs 2.5 crore for road improvements.

Saini took the opportunity to criticize the Congress, which won five out of ten seats in the recent general elections, accusing them of corruption and nepotism during their tenure. He defended the current government's record, emphasizing the transition to online processes for transfers and improved governance.

"The current government's work speaks for itself," Saini stated, urging the opposition to compare their achievements over the past decade with the present administration’s progress.
