"Grew Solar has secured a ₹2,028 crore contract from NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd for the supply of solar modules."

Gujarat-based solar PV manufacturer Grew Solar on Tuesday said it has secured a ₹2,028-crore contract from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited for the supply of high-efficiency solar PV modules aggregating around 1,464.5 MW.

The modules will be supplied over a one-year period from Grew Solar’s manufacturing facility at Dudu in Rajasthan and deployed across multiple locations in Uttar Pradesh, the company told businessline.

Vinay Thadani, CEO and Director of Chiripal Group-backed Grew Solar, said the partnership reflects confidence in the company’s technology and a shared commitment to clean energy. “At Grew Solar, we see each project as more than a supply order—it’s a responsibility to power progress with integrity, precision, and purpose,” he said in a statement.

Under the contract, Grew Solar will supply advanced, high-efficiency solar PV modules manufactured using cutting-edge technology and backed by stringent quality standards.

Incorporated in 2022, Grew Solar began operations with the launch of M10 modules of up to 550 Wp and commissioned a 1.2 GW PV module manufacturing facility at Dudu, Rajasthan. By 2025, the company scaled its operational capacity to 3 GW, producing high-efficiency M10 TOPCon modules of up to 590 Wp.

The company is currently expanding its Dudu facility to 11 GW, positioning it as one of India’s largest AI-powered, integrated solar PV module manufacturing plants with an in-house R&D laboratory.

As part of its backward integration plans, Grew Solar will also set up a 3 GW solar PV cell manufacturing plant at Narmadapuram in Madhya Pradesh, with plans to expand the capacity to 8 GW by the end of 2026.
