Godrej Appliances' Shirwal unit gets green certification.

Godrej Appliances' Shirwal unit in Maharashtra has obtained 'platinum green co' certification from CII.

The certification is the highest recognition from the CII Green Business Centre for any manufacturing company for ecologically sustainable growth.

The plant achieved specific energy reduction 56 per cent in nine years and cut green house gas by 29 per cent. It has also lowered specific water consumption by 22 per cent.
