Tesla Secures Large Warehousing Space in Mumbai.

Tesla India Motor & Energy Pvt Ltd has taken a significant step in bolstering its logistics infrastructure within the country, leasing a substantial 24,565 square feet of warehousing space in Lodha Logistics Park in Mumbai.

According to real estate data analytics firm CRE Matrix, which reviewed the registration documents, the lease commenced with a starting monthly rent of ₹37.53 lakh.

The warehousing facility, strategically located in Kurla-West, Mumbai, has been secured for a period of five years from Macrotech Developers Ltd, the developer of the logistics park. This move signals Tesla India's continued expansion of its operational footprint in the key Indian market.

While the specific use for the warehousing space has not been explicitly detailed by Tesla, such a large facility typically supports inventory management, parts distribution, and potential pre-delivery inspection for vehicles, aligning with the company's broader plans for sales and service in India. This leasing agreement is a tangible indicator of Tesla's ongoing commitment to establishing a robust presence in the nation.
