CIAL's Taj Cochin International Airport Hotel to Launch on December 28.

Cochin International Airport Ltd. (CIAL) has announced the grand opening of the Taj Cochin International Airport, a luxury five-star hotel situated within the airport premises.

The hotel, developed by CIAL and operated under the Taj brand by Indian Hotels Company Ltd. (IHCL) following a global tender process, will be inaugurated by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Saturday, December 28.

Located just 500 meters from the airport terminals, the Taj Cochin International Airport features 111 premium rooms and suites, offering convenience and luxury to travelers.

S. Suhas, Managing Director of CIAL, highlighted the significance of the project, stating, “The Taj Cochin International Airport is a milestone in our journey to combine world-class infrastructure with hospitality excellence. Partnering with IHCL’s iconic Taj brand enhances Kerala’s global appeal as a premier destination for travelers while reaffirming our commitment to innovation.”

CIAL, known for its pivotal role in transforming South India’s aviation sector, manages the country’s fourth-busiest airport for international passengers, handling over 10 million travelers annually.

This launch follows the success of CIAL’s other hospitality initiative, the 0484 Aero Lounge, introduced in September 2024. The lounge offers affordable luxury with 42 rooms, flexible tariffs, co-working spaces, a spa, gym, and conference facilities.
