Brigade REAP to Make 6-8 Startup Investments Annually.

Bengaluru-based Brigade Group’s startup accelerator, Brigade REAP, plans to invest in six to eight startups annually, with an investment range of $100,000 to $200,000 per startup, according to Abhay Garg, Head of Brigade REAP.

In a recent announcement, Brigade REAP revealed a $500,000 investment in Settlin, a gig-based real estate startup, as part of a funding round with multiple investors. Garg emphasized that the accelerator intends to expand its impact on India’s Prop Tech ecosystem by investing in startups beyond its accelerator portfolio.

Founded in 2016, Settlin specializes in end-to-end execution of residential property resales, eliminating the need for traditional brokers. The company had previously raised $1 million in a pre-Series A round from investors including Powerhouse Ventures, GSF Fund, and industry leaders like Murugavel Janakiraman and Dinesh Agrawal.

Settlin has sold 1,000 homes, achieving a gross transactional value (GTV) of approximately ₹900 crore, according to a company release.
