Borosil Renewables’ Innovation Hub Earns DSIR Recognition.

Borosil Renewables Limited has received prestigious recognition for its in-house Research and Development (R&D) Unit from the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.

The DSIR recognition has been granted to the company’s R&D facility located at Plot No. 7, Sr. No. 234, 235 & 245, Indialand Global Industrial Park Road, Phase-1, Hinjewadi, Pune, Maharashtra.

The recognition, established by the Government of India to benchmark industrial R&D capabilities, acknowledges Borosil Renewables’ commitment to advanced research, innovation, and excellence in its in-house R&D activities. The certification also reinforces the company’s efforts to align its research initiatives with international standards and promote technological advancement.

With this recognition, Borosil Renewables’ R&D Unit will be eligible to avail customs duty exemptions on the purchase and import of equipment, instruments, spares, consumables, and other items required for research and development activities.

The DSIR registration will remain valid until March 31, 2029, enabling the company to further strengthen its innovation-driven initiatives and enhance its R&D capabilities.
