AMS Expands Pune GCC, Boosts India’s Role in Global Talent Operations.
AMS has announced the expansion of its first India-based Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Pune, underscoring the country’s growing strategic importance in the company’s global operations.
The expansion comes as AMS scales up its India workforce to support increasing demand across regions including EMEA, APAC, the Americas, and the UK. The move reflects a broader industry trend, with India emerging as a major GCC hub, currently hosting over 1,700 centres and expected to reach around 2,500 by 2030.
Companies are increasingly turning to India for access to specialised talent, digital expertise, and scalable service delivery. AMS’ latest investment aligns with this shift, positioning India at the centre of its global delivery model.
The Pune centre will play a key role in delivering client services, including RPO sourcing and administration, business intelligence, talent intelligence, analytics-driven execution, and digital enablement. It will operate on a 24x5 model to support global clients across time zones.
