Alkem Foundation, IIT Bombay to Establish Joint Research Centre.

Alkem Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Alkem Laboratories Ltd, is partnering with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay to set up a research centre focused on immuno-therapeutics and regenerative medicines.

The foundation will initially invest ₹77 crore to establish the centre on the IIT Bombay campus, a source familiar with the development told BusinessLine.

The initiative aims to advance research in cutting-edge medical therapies, leveraging collaboration between academia and industry to foster innovation in healthcare and biotechnology in India.
