Adani Renewable Energy Eight Brings 150 MW Plant Online in Gujarat’s Khavda.

Adani Renewable Energy Eight Limited (ARE8L), a wholly-owned stepdown subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), has operationalised a 150 MW solar power project at Khavda in Gujarat.

With the commissioning of this project, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy generation capacity has reached 19,985.8 MW, while its operational Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity now stands at 3,366 MWh, the company said.

According to the company, based on the relevant clearances, the decision to operationalise the plant was taken at 10:42 p.m. on June 27, 2026, with power generation commencing from June 28, 2026.

The Khavda project marks another addition to AGEL’s expanding renewable energy portfolio, further strengthening its position in India’s clean energy sector.
