Adani Power Secures 1,600 MW Supply Deal with MSEDCL.

Adani Power has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL) to supply 1,600 MW of electricity under a long-term power supply arrangement.

The award follows a competitive bidding process in which Adani Power emerged as the lowest-tariff bidder, offering power at a combined tariff of ₹5.30 per kWh, the company said in a statement on Sunday.

Power supply under the proposed 25-year Power Supply Agreement (PSA) is expected to begin from FY31. The project includes a pre-determined coal linkage, which the company said will help ensure fuel security and support cost-effective electricity supply.
