Adani Green Energy Completes Solar Power Projects Commissioning in Gujarat
Adani Green Energy Ltd, a leading player in the renewable energy sector, has successfully operationalized an impressive aggregate of 775 MW solar power projects in Khavda, Gujarat, through its wholly-owned step-down subsidiaries.
This achievement follows closely on the heels of the company's commissioning of a 180 MW solar power plant in Devikot, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The Devikot plant boasts a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). Adani Green Energy estimates that the plant will generate approximately 540 million units of electricity annually, thereby providing power to over 1.1 lakh homes. Additionally, the plant's operation is expected to reduce approximately 0.39 million tonnes of CO2 emissions annually, as stated in the company's official statement.
