Zuari Cement has set up its thrid lab in Tirupati

Tirupati: Zuari Industries Ltd has launched a high-tech Soil Testing Laboratory in Tirupati.

It is the third such lab, after the ones in Pune and Bangalore.

The Bangalore and Pune labs have Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AASPM) for analysing micro-nutrients. The company is planning to replicate the Tirupati facility at Sholapur in Maharashtra shortly.

The company had started looking beyond Karnataka and Maharashtra, presently its traditional markets, to focus on Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
