Som Distilleries and Breweries Limited's wholly owned subsidiary Woodpecker Distilleries and Breweries Pvt Ltd. has commenced commercial production of expanded capacity at Hassan, Karnataka. This will lead to better supply of company's products across all the distribution points in the relevant markets.

This will also enable the company to take advantage of the peak consumption season of beer.
