Wipro Secures Contract Extension with Marelli.

Wipro has announced a four-year extension of its partnership with Marelli, a global automotive solutions provider. The extended agreement is described as a "large deal," underscoring the strategic importance of the collaboration.

As part of the agreement, Wipro FullStride Cloud Services will migrate Marelli’s Milan Data Centre and local server rooms to the cloud. This initiative aims to centralize operations, creating a more agile and stable ecosystem for Marelli while accelerating the time-to-market for its products and services.

The project also includes enhancing employee support with AI-driven virtual assistants, providing advanced vulnerability management, and optimizing application maintenance services to reduce costs and minimize rework.

Vittorio Rossetti, Chief Digital Officer of Marelli, emphasized the value of the collaboration, stating, “Over the years, Wipro has developed an in-depth understanding of our business. Combined with their technical expertise, this will help us further enhance and grow our IT infrastructure.”

The extended partnership highlights the companies’ commitment to driving innovation and operational efficiency in the automotive sector.
