SLB Secures Five-Year Integrated Fracturing Services Contract from Petroleum Development Oman for Block 6 Oil and Gas Fields

Muscat, Oman – October 23, 2026: Global energy technology company SLB has secured a five-year contract from Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) to provide integrated fracturing services across oil and gas fields in Oman's onshore Block 6 concession.

The contract covers the deployment of advanced reservoir stimulation technologies, well intervention services, automated fracturing systems and digital solutions designed to enhance hydrocarbon production and improve reservoir performance.

Under the agreement, SLB will integrate its technical expertise and digital capabilities to optimise well productivity, improve reservoir contact and maximise recovery from existing oil and gas assets.

Block 6, Oman's largest oil and gas concession, plays a significant role in the country's upstream energy sector. The new contract is expected to support PDO's efforts to enhance production efficiency and extend the productive life of its hydrocarbon resources.

The award further strengthens SLB's long-standing relationship with PDO and expands its integrated oilfield services portfolio in Oman.
