Waaree Solar Americas Secures 288-MWp Order for Texas Projects.

Waaree Solar Americas Inc. has secured a 288-MWp solar module order from Sabancı Renewables for two utility-scale projects in Texas, the company announced recently. The order, first disclosed to stock exchanges on December 5, marks the US debut of Waaree’s 620-Wp bifacial solar modules.

The modules will be supplied to the Pepper Solar Project in Waco and the Lucky 7 Solar Project in Brashear, with deliveries scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2026. The order represents a major step in Waaree’s expansion in the Texas solar market.

Featuring 3.2-mm high-strength front glass, the modules are designed to withstand severe hail and extreme weather conditions common in Texas. M Sunil Rathi, President of Waaree Solar Americas, said the technology highlights the company’s ability to provide solutions tailored for challenging climates as the US accelerates its clean energy transition.
