Virinchi arm sets up Rs. 300-cr multi-speciality hospital in Hyderabad.

Virinchi Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., a 100 per cent subsidiary of IT solutions provider Virinchi Ltd., has set up its first 600-bed multi-specialty hospital.

Announcing this at a press conference recently, Vish Kompella, Chairman of Virinchi Ltd., said the total investment in the hospital was Rs. 300 crore. It would specially focus on cardio, ortho, nephro, neuro, emergency, cancer and transplantation.

According to Srinivas Myana, Executive Director, Finance & Regulatory Affairs, Virinchi Hospitals, about 350 beds would be ready in the next couple of weeks and this would go up to 600 in the next few months.

“We have roped in 75 expert doctors, of whom about 30 are already on board. The total employment to be provided to paramedical and other supporting staff will be to the tune of 1,000,’’ he said.
