Uttarakhand Govt to set up IIM and industrial estate

Dehra Dun: Uttarakhand Government is planning to set up a new Indian Institue of Management (IIM) at the industrial town of Kashipur in Kumaon region with and will come up at Escorts Farms featuring 530 acres of land.

Besides this it has proposed to set up a new industrial estate at Kashipur. It plans to utilise 300 acres from the 530 acres that will be used for building the Indian Institue of Management.

The proposed industrial estate in the state will fetch investment of Rs 3,000 to 5,000 crore.
