"UltraTech Cement Ltd. Launches 1 MTPA Brownfield Cement Capacity in Roorkee"

UltraTech Cement Limited has made a significant announcement regarding the commissioning of a new 1 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) brownfield cement capacity at Roorkee, Uttarakhand. This expansion brings the unit's total capacity to 2.1 mtpa.

This development is part of the company's broader strategy for capacity expansion, which was initially announced as a 22.6 mtpa expansion plan.

With the successful commissioning of this unit, UltraTech Cement's overall grey cement manufacturing capacity in India has now been increased to 138.39 mtpa.
